Our concept

We welcome you and share our home in a 1900s rural house, extended and then recently renovated. Your stay can be structured around different themes all based on the 4 elements:

  • Earth, rich and generous
  • Air, soft and pure
  • Water, clear and fresh
  • Fire, light and joyful

In the heart of « La Nouvelle Arche » (The New Arch) we propose leisure activities, for fun, for recovery or for sport, moments of relaxation and calm but also outings in the surrounding area, walking, cycling or by car.

We provide healthy and balanced meals, made with fruits and vegetables from our kitchen garden and produce from local farmers.

Your hosts

Previously a Parisian, an interior decorator and builder, I left the capital 6 years ago to start this project, to create a “maison d’hôtes” a Bed and Breakfast with a quality of life to share. It took me 4 years to renovate this grand dwelling, respecting its history and architecture, creating peaceful spaces, a kitchen garden, animals; geese, ducks, hens and more, to make it come alive; to be able to welcome you in the authentic comfort and calm of an old country house.

As a sportsman and trainer, I train others of all levels in the gym. I am inspired by the old adage “healthy body, healthy mind”.

Our rooms

Four rooms are on the first floor with a common bathroom, it is an ideal and private space for family reunions, families with older children or groups of friends, bikers, cyclists, etc :

- Looking for lost time
- Alice in Wonderland
- Night train
- From the earth to the moon

There is a room on the ground floor for people who do not wish to climb stairs or who use a wheelchair:
- Les pieds nickelés (Cartoon from 1908 “Those who are not focused on work”)
